'BLACK MIRROR': SET IN WORLDS ONLY MINUTES FROM OUR OWN.

'Black Mirror' is a British TV anthology series that features speculative fiction and examines modern society, particularly with regard to the unanticipated consequences of new technologies. The first two seasons of the show were broadcast on Channel 4 and, in September 2015, Netflix  commissioned a third season  of 12 episodes.
Each episode has a different cast, a different setting and even a different reality. They have, though, something in common: they are all about  the way we live now. Charlie Brooker, creator of the series, explained the series' title to The Guardian, noting: "If technology is a drug- and it does feel like a drug-then, what are the side effects? The 'black mirror' of the title is the one you'll find on every wall, on every desk, in the palm of every hand: the cold, shiny screen of a TV, monitor o smartphone".

  1. Mind-blowing!I had only seen the first season but after reading this I watched the first one of season 3 and it's too good. 10/10.

  2. Wait until you watch 'San Junipero' (the fourth episode of Season 3). It is a relief from the leitmotiv 'technology is a trap' that goes along the show. I cried like a baby thinking about a place like 'San Junipero'.
