This film was too much for me.
ReplyDeleteI watched it last Saturday but it stills on my mind.
So beautifully directed, perfect plot, outstanding acting... A true work of art.
Never cried that much, the film went straight on my heart and I recommend it to everyone: please go & watch it!
I totally agree with you. Have you watched the previous films of J.A Bayona? If you haven't, I highly recommend that you watch 'The Orphanage' and 'The Impossible'. I think 'A monster calls' closes a trilogy about motherhood.
ReplyDeleteYes!!! I had watched both and I thought it was impossible for Bayona to surpass them, but he truly did!
ReplyDeleteI read that too! What an amazing trilogy <3
